Uplift-One is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating community deterioration with acts of public service. We believe in revitalizing neighborhoods through community cleaning, blight removal, and educational awareness to create cleaner and safer communities.
We currently work and serve the Brightmoor community located on Detroit's west side with future plans to expand to other Detroit neighborhoods.
Founded in 2021 by Detroit firefighter, Derric Stephens, Uplift-One is comprised of a team of community leaders and public servants who are passionate about restoring beauty, safety, and sustainability to Detroit neighborhoods.
